portobello mushrooms

From: Bulich Mushroom Farm (Family Farm in Catskill, NY)

Portobellos pack a great rich mushroom flavor and a texture that pairs perfectly with steaks or other meats. We love them as stuffed mushrooms, grilled and used as burger buns or even included in Sauteed Mushrooms with Garlic!

green beans

From: Dagele Brothers Farm (Integrated Pest Management in Florida, NY)

Not only are green beans a nice, crunchy, low-calorie food but also they provide many key nutrients. Young, tender green beans are a good source of vitamin C, dietary fiber, folate, vitamin K and silicon (needed for healthy bones, skin, and hair).

green bell peppers

From: Dagele Brothers Farm (Integrated Pest Management in Florida, NY)

"The green bell pepper is a sweet pepper picked before ripening from a plant belonging to the Solanaceae family. As it ripens, the fruit turns yellow, orange, and then red. However, there are bell pepper varieties that remain green when fully ripened.

green zucchini noodles

From: Trusted Harvest (Locally Sourced in Germantown, NY)

These ever-so trendy zucchini noodles (aka zoodles) are made by Kingston, NY based Trusted Harvest. They are super fresh. The zucchini arrives at Trusted Harvest, they zip through the spiralizer, are packaged up, and then sent off to Field Goods.

pink lady apples

From: Migliorelli Farm (Family Farm in Red Hook, NY)

These apples are the first to blossom and the last to be harvested. The extra time in the sun gives Pink Lady apples their blush color and sweeter crunch.

red & green lettuce

From: SAF Produce (Hydroponic in Albany, NY)

Green and red leaf lettuces are small with large, loose, long and wavy leaves with curly edges. Red leaf is green and burgundy in color, while green leaf is pale green with darker green highlights.

bosc pears

From: Migliorelli Farm (Family Farm in Red Hook, NY)

Bosc pears have a more firm, dense flesh than other pear varieties, so they are ideal for use in baking, broiling or poaching. They retain their shape and texture better than other varieties, and their flavor is less likely to be overwhelmed by the use of strong spices like cinnamon, clove or nutmeg.

golden pineapple

From: (Product of Ecuador)

The golden pineapple fruit is barrel- or pine cone-shaped with a rough, green to golden brown-colored rind and is topped with a crown of spiky green leaves. The fragrant, juicy flesh is brilliant yellow and intensely sweet and somewhat acidic.

watermelon chunks

From: Trusted Harvest (Locally Sourced in Germantown, NY)

Bringing Summer to you! The perfect middle of the day snack. Crafted and prepared by local business, Trusted Harvest.

petite bananas

From: (Product of Ecuador)

Baby bananas or petite bananas wear a thin, bright yellow signature peel. As their name suggests, they are petite in size, averaging only three to four inches in length. Baby bananas have a very dense creamy texture and once ripe their flavor is rich and sweet with vanilla and caramel undertones.
