garlic heads

From: Barber's Farm (Family Farm in Middleburgh, NY )

Remember that the large bulb of garlic you buy is NOT one 'clove. ' The whole garlic is called a 'head' or 'knob. ' Each small, individual segment of a garlic head is a clove.

crimini mushrooms

From: Bulich Mushroom Farm (Family Farm in Catskill, NY)

The crimini mushrooms are slightly more mature than the white buttons. They have a browner color, firmer texture, and are better in flavor. We use them frequently in stews and soups, since we find that they hold up better in liquid.

bok choy

From: Dagele Brothers Farm Hub (Integrated Pest Management in Florida, NY)

Bok choy or pok choi is a type of Chinese cabbage. Along with being crunchy and delicious, bok choy is full of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that make it a beneficial addition to your diet. Like other dark, leafy greens, it's full of antioxidants and other compounds that help to promote better health.

These ever-so trendy zucchini noodles (aka zoodles) are made by Kingston, NY based Trusted Harvest. They are super fresh. The zucchini arrives at Trusted Harvest, they zip through the spiralizer, are packaged up, and then sent off to Field Goods.

fuji apples

You'll taste notes such as honey, citrus, and pear in a Fuji apple. Fuji apples have a taste and texture very similar to the Asian Pear, but the apples are slightly more crisp and tart. They're one of the most refreshing apple varieties.

kiwi

From: (Product of Ecuador)

Kiwifruit or Chinese gooseberry is the edible berry of several species of woody vines in the genus Actinidia. The most common cultivar group of kiwifruit is oval, about the size of a large hen's egg.

cameo apples

From: Zone 7 Farm (Local Farms in Ringoes, NJ))

Cameo apples are covered in red stripes that develop just prior to the apple being ready for harvest. By picking the apples as soon as they develop this signature striping ensures their skin maintains the thin and delicate texture Cameo’s are known. Its flesh is dense and creamy white to yellow in color with a crisp and juicy texture. The Cameo’s flavor is the perfect balance of sweet and tart with nuances of both honey and citrus.

petite bananas

From: (Product of Ecuador)

Baby bananas or petite bananas wear a thin, bright yellow signature peel. As their name suggests, they are petite in size, averaging only three to four inches in length. Baby bananas have a very dense creamy texture and once ripe their flavor is rich and sweet with vanilla and caramel undertones.
