Sugar snap peas are a sweet treat. They are great for snacking, salads, and stir fry. A cross between a garden pea and a snow pea, the entire pod is edible!

Sugar Snap Peas with Garlic
8 oz. (about 3 cups) fresh sugar snap peas
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil (or your preferred cooking oil)
½ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 garlic cloves -minced
Trim the stems from the pea pods. Preheat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Add the pea pods, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes stirring often. Remove from heat.
